I pinned this yesterday and made it. The website called for vinyl but you can modge podge it just the same. I changed my size from the original because the edges of the paper weren’t exact for my method. You should be able to just print out my template (right click, save image as and print) . I also added my daughter’s name on the front since they seem to get lost at church child-care.
So I am clearly addicted to a new thing that just started up. My sweet niece mentioned something on Facebook that I just had to get in on. It’s called Pinterest. And anybody who’s anybody can get on, as long as you know someone who is a member. If they are nice enough to send you an invite, I strongly recommend getting a timer before you “Pin“. At first I was just Pinning things like crazy, trying to get stuff on my boards. Now, it seems I can’t get on the stinkin’ thing without first pinning things I think are cool, want to do or think I’ll do in the future. I got on the other day, just to find ONE craft and ended up following two new people and added at least a hundred new pins to my craft board. So I am adding this Pin in the hopes that you too will vow with me to execute one idea you pin for every ten pins. Happy Pinning!
I just have a few minutes to post here so I thought I would share the best piece of information you can get as a Mom. Although this is a great informational video…you still might want to consider taking the class for children and adults. Hopefully you never have to use it. Here’s the link.
So I’m going to get sushi for the first time in months at this fabulous place close to home. Because I’m breastfeeding, doctors told me to stay away from raw fish. While I was pregnant with my daughter, I ate the California Roll as often as my husband would let me. Most times, begging someone to go with me (cause he wouldn’t). Now I have a neighbor that will go with me as many times as our stomachs and wallets will let us. Yippee. While my kiddos were asleep, I thought…”hum, what if I could save hubby some money and cook these puppies at home”. Needless to say, I found the DIY website, showing me how to do it. I’ll go to the store next week and get the goods to make them. For now, here’s the link with everything you need to know on how to make your OWN sushi. Good luck.
So I was sitting in my mother in laws kitchen the other day and noticed she had a huge hole in her oven mitten. Her birthday is coming up this October so I’m going to make her a glove. I made one for my Mom for her birthday with these cute little applique hearts; one for each grandchild. Here’s what it looks like. It was super easy to make. The next one I make will have more batting in the middle. Took me almost an hour to make.
